1. Koliabor T.E.

   • Koliabor TE has 500 acres of land out of which 60 acre (60,000 plants) is under jatropha plantation. The owner expressed his willingness to allow NEDFi R & D Centre to take up any sorts of field research which may be considered by the advisory committee.

2. Suta Kol (Kushal Konwar Suta Kol Dabidubi

   • Kushal Konwar Suta Kol, Dabidubi is having about 850 bighas of high land suitable for Jatropha cultivation. The chairman Shri Apurba Baruah has proposed to make a model Jatropha plantation unit which may be considered by the advisory committee.

3. Karbi Anglong Seva Kendra, Sariahjan

   • Karbi Anglong Seva Kendra, Sariahjan has about 30 hactare land suitable for Jatropha cultivation which they offer to develop nurseries and model commercial plantation unit with the support of NEDFi. The advisory committee may consider the proposal.

5. Appraisal of proposed R & D activities with R & D Division OIL, Duliajan

• On request of R & D Division, OIL, Duliajan Dr. D.N. Dutta and Dr. M. Ahmed visited on 25th May, 2006 and held discussion with GM, R & D Chief and other senior officials regarding Biodiesel programme to be taken up in the abandoned drilling sites of oil fields. In this regard the R & D division desires to formulate joint research and development programme. The advisory committee may consider the proposal.
